"Gender and Security Sector Reform", Niš, 24-26 June 2011

With the support of the European Union and the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence organises this year the project “Partnership for Gender and Human Security”.
This project which is composed of three seminars, two local study visits and two roundtables, aims to promote the position of women in society and to strenghtens the capacity of political actors in this area. The participants will gather for the second national seminar on "Gender and Security Sector Reform", to be held on 24-26 June 2011 in Niš. A half-day visit to the Serbian Army's "South" base is also scheduled.
