Over 100 participants from 5 countries attended the seminar “Sapere aude” in Tbilisi 19/10/2015 The seminar “Sapere aude” organised by the Association of Schools of Political Studies in collaboration with Moscow School and Tbilisi School was held in Tbilisi, Georgia on 22-26 September 2015. The seminar was attended by over 100 young decision-makers and opinion-formers from Georgia, Russia, Belarus, Poland and Ukraine.

Among topics discussed there were human rights and the rule of law, perspectives on globalisation and democracy, Russia-Europe and Russia-Ukraine relations, journalism and propaganda, history and memory, civic education and global civics.

In addition to the main programme, one day was devoted to the philosophical heritage of the famous Soviet and Georgian philosopher Merab Mamardashvili, whose vision that there are many, many cultures but only one civilization, ran through all the themes of the seminar.
