Hospital in Kiev

The attack on a children's hospital in Kiev by Russian forces is a barbaric act for which Russia must take responsibility. A Russian missile strike killed more than 30 people, including 4 children, and devastated the country's largest paediatric hospital, the Okhmatdyt. This act, described as a "war crime" by international observers, shocked the world with its cruelty and was a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.

Since the spring, systematic strikes against health facilities and other civilian targets in Ukraine illustrate Russia's massive violations of human rights and international conventions. The international community must hold Russia accountable for these inhumane actions and step up its support for Ukraine in the face of this illegal and unjustifiable aggression.
