Dialogue for European Democratic Future
From June 7-9, 2024, the Yerevan School of Political Studies, in collaboration with the Tbilisi School of Political Studies, hosted a joint event titled "Dialogue for European Democratic Future" in Dilijan, Armenia. The conference brought together over 70 participants, including ambassadors, diplomats, Armenian, Georgian, and international experts, and young leaders.
The discussions focused on the need for a European presence in the South Caucasus, combating disinformation and propaganda, the impact of geopolitics on the region, hybrid warfare, and adapting European governance practices in Armenia and Georgia. Other key topics included the role of civil society in democracy, digital crisis management, and the shared vision of a democratic European future despite unique national challenges.
