Second UDESIN summer school: PEOPLE-SOCIETY
Our associate member Democratic and Social Institute UDESIN from Slovenia held their second summer school on democracy and human rights from 21 to 23 September 2018. The aim of this year’s meeting was to overcome generation gaps, to strengthen the exchange of opinions among individuals from different backgrounds and to deepen the knowledge about the society in which we are living today.
The summer school provided the floor for variety of experts, students and civil society representatives to address the questions considering the contemporary society and our role in it. The three days of the school consisted of lectures, workshops, debates and the theatre play.
The seminar was attended by prominent speakers from different sectors; amongst them were columnist, lawyer, philosopher, journalists, sociologist, anthropologist, activist, expert on public speaking and a drama teacher.
