The seminar “Sapere Aude: Freedom of Speech, Media and Society” organised by the Association of Schools of Political Studies in collaboration with the European Studies Centre and St. Antony’s College was held in Oxford on 28 January - 1 February 2019. The seminar was attended by 76 young journalists, editors and media-managers from Georgia, Kazakhstan, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine.

During five working days participants discussed topics relating to the freedom of speech and the media, including:, Journalism, Desinformation and Propaganda, Old and New Media, Cross-border Journalism, Journalism under Pressure, Censorship versus Self-Censorship and many others.
