The seminar “Sapere aude: Freedom and the Rule of Law” organised by the Association of Schools of Political Studies, in co-operation with the Valsaín Foundation and with the support of the Council of Europe and the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) was held in Segovia, Spain, on 30 May - 2 June 2016. The seminar was attended by 57 young decision-makers and opinion-formers from Armenia, Belarus, Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Russia, Sweden and Ukraine.
Among topics discussed were “Global world: limits of control and freedom”, “Rule of law: right as an extent of exercise of freedom”, “History: self-evolution of a man in history as a process of modification of freedom”, “Freedom as a foundation for itself” and many others.
